amassed significant experience and insights into the functional and technical needs of Fish & Wildlife agency licensing, permitting, registration and reservation solutions across the United States and
Canada.
In 2010, armed with this experience, we knew that a much more comprehensive functional and
technically sound approach to the development of these types of solution platforms was needed in order to
accommodate the growing and ever-changing needs of the industry. These needs in large part dealt with
the move away from systems that simply provided a means to buy hunting and fishing licenses to systems
that included a commitment to active agency engagement and partnership. This led to the development of
innovative new solutions offering easy and creative ways for customers (new and old) to be both
introduced to and then actively engaged with the great outdoors.
2022 marks S3’s 12th year in business serving state, municipal and tribal agencies, as well as various
other sectors of the outdoor recreation industry.
