Job Description

The Senior Manager of Social Media plays a key role in leading Qualified’s social strategy. This role reports to the Director of Content Marketing and will drive our social strategy and execution to build followership across LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.

This role plays a unique role for the business — we unite all of Qualified’s social channels, voices, and thought leaders into one team working together to make the Qualified brand an example of social excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

    • As the Senior Social Media Manager, you will build strong relationships with internal and external subject matter experts.
    • You are highly collaborative, communicative, and can unite cross-functional stakeholders and team members behind our social strategy.
    • Strategize and execute social pieces from conception to launch.
    • Edit social content produced by the team, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, assigning projects and overseeing development and copy-editing prior to publishing.
    • Build and maintain social editorial calendar and written brand guidelines and style guide.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective social editorial calendar.
Qualifications:
    • 6-8+ years of experience in a related field.
    • Experience growing a social following from 5k-100k followers.
    • Examples of work demonstrating the ability to create fun, high-quality, engaging innovative social media content and campaigns.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong editing skills with attention to detail.
    • Hands-on knowledge of digital media tools – digital photography, basic Photoshop/photo editing skills, knowledge of apps commonly used for creating social content; basic video creation/editing skills are a bonus.
    • Experience using a variety of popular social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
    • Experience with social listening tools: Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Falcon.io, etc
