Salesforce Consultant

Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Last Updated: 17/6/22

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Consultant who shares our values and has led implementations and projects end-to-end. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role where you’ll utilize your expertise, experience, problem-solving abilities, and creative flair to advise, design, build, deliver, support, and maintain our clients’ Salesforce ecosystems. While our office is in Boston, this job is remote.

Salesforce Consultants take the lead in managing projects and serve as the client’s main point of contact. They lead the business process and requirements reviews, execute on implementation and configuration, perform user acceptance testing (UAT), deploy solutions into production environments, train clients, and provide post-implementation support.

Who You Are

  • You’re extremely organized. Consultants can manage 4-8 projects or clients at a time. You are comfortable with simultaneously balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • You’re goal-driven. Distractions and roadblocks are common in any project. You’re someone who brings laser-focus to setting goals and timelines with clients, and then hitting them.
  • You’re proactive. You evaluate potential issues and risks before they happen and take action to mitigate them. You proactively communicate and follow up with clients to ensure they’re always in the loop.
  • You’re a great problem solver. No matter how proactive you are, unforeseen challenges arise. When they do, you can quickly recognize them, understand their scope, identify the right solution(s), and adapt to solve the problem.
  • You have directly relevant experience. You have a minimum of 3+ years of Salesforce consulting experience that includes completing projects end-to-end (not just a part of a project). Bonus if those projects included third-party application integrations.
  • You’re certified. We’re seeking applicants with their Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification and ideally, the Sales and/or Service Cloud Consultant certification.
  • You thrive in a startup environment. Startups aren’t for everyone. We move fast, adapt and change quickly, and frequently operate in ambiguity. Each person also has an outsized impact on our company. You’re someone who has no problem excelling in this environment and loves rolling up their sleeves.

If you read this job description and think, “that sounds like me,” we’d love to talk! Submit your resume, and if it looks like a good fit, we’ll reach out.
