Role Summary - REMOTE

As a key member of the Marketing Team, the Marketing Operations Analyst is passionate about Marketing Technology (MarTech) and understands the value that data and analytics can bring to both marketing and sales teams.

This position will assume a collaborative role in managing and advancing the marketing department’s operational processes, MarTech systems (think Salesforce + Pardot) and process architecture, data quality, reporting and analysis, and process improvement/scalability. This position plays a vital role in managing Lead and Opportunity processes to optimize and report on marketing results and increase sales revenue.

This position is best suited for a Salesforce superstar with 2+ years admin experience. The ideal candidate should enjoy collaboration with peers and Executives alike, documenting and rolling out process improvements and reporting/analysis of lead generation, pipeline, and sales results.

Responsibilities

  • Own Salesforce: Maintain data integrity for Salesforce database (add and enhance account/contact data, history, deduplication) to support Marketing campaigns and reporting.

  • Strengthen the Marketing Ecosystem: Administer and manage the MarTech Stack (Salesforce, marketing automation tools, contact database tools, ABM and reporting technology, content syndication systems and more), and recommend the addition or subtraction of tools as necessary to boost lead generation initiatives and performance while optimizing marketing budget.

  • Automate, Automate, Automate: Plan, execute and maintain numerous validations rules, process automation, customizations, email alerts and formulas to support maximum data capture improving business process, visibility & intelligence.

  • Use Data to Tell a Story: Own marketing and sales reporting and analysis of all aspects of the sales and pre-sales operation, including lead qualification, pipeline management, performance & KPI metrics, trends, pipeline creations goals, campaign attribution, conversion rates and other strategic ad-hoc needs.

  • Make it Visual: Use the technology stack to create and maintain a plethora of dashboards for all levels and departments of the organization.

  • Build Pipeline: Work in Partnership with Head of Creative and Campaigns to continually improve marketing effectiveness and the lead pipeline including maintaining account lists, testing, targeting, lead scoring, campaign planning and nurture/ABM cadences and technical framework.

  • Help Seal the Deal: Work closely and collaboratively with Business Development Rep (BDR) to create and monitor Sales Playbooks (establish cadence, create and maintain various email templates & monitor performance).

Required Skills and Characteristics:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or related field
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce Administration (3 + years admin experience)
  • Advanced knowledge of common MarTech software programs and the integration between them
  • Strong familiarity of lead management and opportunity process models
  • Experience developing and implementing new processes and technologies, while driving adoption and compliance
  • Uses data to answer complex business questions
  • Detail oriented with a focus on data quality and accuracy
  • Strong problem solving, analytic and Excel skills
  • Collaborates well with others and thrives in small teams

Preferred Skills and Characteristics:

  • Salesforce Certification
  • Proven Pardot experience
  • Proven knowledge of ProShip’s specific MarTech stack
  • Experience in Account-Based Marketing tactics
  • Extensive marketing and sales reporting experience
  • Experience in the supply chain, logistics or information technology space
