Job Description

SFDC Senior ( 6-8) years experience and must be in a hands on capacity in the recent past)
a. Hands on SFDC Senior Developer who can work as tech lead
b. Must be Admin/PD1/PD2 certified
c. 6-8 years experience as technical lead with hands-on development skills ( lwc/apex/configuration)
d. Must be comfortable working in an offshore model and interacting with technical and business teams
e. Must have experience with Service Cloud or FSL or Experience Cloud or Commerce Cloud
f. Should be capable of conducting design sessions and work with business and development teams to get the development done
Technical skills –
- Configuration
o Detailed knowledge on Lightning pages, profiles, permission sets, record types, page layouts, standard & custom objects, sharing & visibility, public groups, named credentials, remote site settings, connected apps, email templates and other standard configuration items.
o Should be very thorough with SOQL and SOSL queries.
o Salesforce reports and report types.
- Customization & coding
o Detailed hands-on experience with Triggers and bulkification, Apex Classes, Visualforce Pages, Visualforce components.
o Detailed hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components, Lightning Aura Components, JavaScript for Lightning, Controllers etc.
o Apex batch jobs and scheduler functionality.
- Integration
o Detailed knowledge on SOAP, REST and Bulk APIs.
o Detailed knowledge on use of DataLoader for Salesforce data loads and interfaces.
- Best Practices
o Coding best practices including trigger bulkification, reusable methods and classes, apex governor limits, use of static variables, common advantages and pitfalls of apex coding and object-oriented programming, proper exception handling and savepoints/rollback, avoiding recursion, null checks, execution contexts etc.
o Lightning best practices including JavaScript programming, exception handling, re-usable components etc.
o Configuration best practices including profile visibilities, security and sharing.
- Administration
o Knowledge on Salesforce release cycles and feature updates (should be able to analyze impacts) using github/copado or othe release management tools
o Knowledge on various Salesforce administrative features such as ANT, Changeset based code migration, remote site settings, named credentials, critical updates, test classes, custom settings & metadata etc.
o Knowledge on sandboxes and Salesforce continuous release cycle (Salesforce DX knowledge will be an added advantage).
o Knowledge on debugging Salesforce errors and issues through logs etc.
General skills –
