Position
As a Salesforce Developer, you bring your OOP game to implement applications in close collaboration and coordination with your project’s scrum team members. By leveraging either your 5+ years of backend experience from other platforms or 1-3 years of Salesforce development, you will not only advance your Apex and Lightning Web Component skills, but also grow your overall mastery of developing on the Salesforce platform. Our client takes on some of the most challenging Salesforce application development in the business. Your desire to creatively tackle hefty business problems with elegant technical solutions is crucial to delivering value to our customers.

• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and use development collaboration tools such as JIRA
• Take full ownership of the user stories you commit to for each sprint
• Work both independently and collaboratively with your team to deliver solutions that meet client expectations and acceptance criteria
• Maintain a strong familiarity with and adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Use Git/GitHub on each project and practice team development using pull requests
• Write test methods as a feature of your codebase, and not just a deployment requirement
• Smoke test your work before you forward for testing
• Record hours performed for each project on a daily basis
• Proactively complete peer surveys to support the feedback process for individuals and continual craft mastery
• Frequently utilize Trailhead and other Salesforce education tools to continually grow your skills
• Earn Salesforce Certifications to support career advancement

• 5+ years of experience in a professional environment or 1-3 years developing on the Salesforce Platform
• A strong GitHub account and the ability to articulate your code
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Test-driven development methodologies
• Capable of demoing to the client
• Bonus: worked as a consultant and/or in a remote work environment
• Nice to have: Platform App Builder, SF JavaScript Developer I, or Platform Developer I certifications

• Prior Salesforce platform experience is a bonus
• Experience with Apex or other object oriented programming languages such as: Java, Ruby, Python, PHP, or .NET
• Familiarity with database query languages like SQL
