Overview

Fast growing health tech start up within the gene therapy sector is looking to hire a Salesforce Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Salesforce professional to play an instrumental role in the continued expansion of this internationally acclaimed software company that helps to deliver affordable ground-breaking treatments safely to patients at scale.

Role

The Salesforce Developer will be a key part of an Agile development team and be responsible for creating high quality software for the Clinical and Pharmaceutical sectors in a fast paced, results-oriented environment. You will work across the range of development practices on the Salesforce platform including declarative tools, Apex, Lightning framework, VisualForce, SOSL and SOQL & Flows to support the further development of the company’s Salesforce Product and its configuration and customization for customer deployments.

Responsibilities

• Document design decisions, adhere to existing architectural and process guidelines, develop software components, support QA during testing and have oversight during implementation into production
• Develop new software features and enhancements in an agile software delivery team
• Ensure that new code is in line with the company’s development quality standards
• Produce documentation describing software changes
• Be a role model and mentor the junior developers
• Work closely with test team to resolve issues and ensure they have a complete understanding of changes to the product
• Participate in the daily standups

Skills and experience

• Salesforce Certified developer – Platform Developer I
• Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical expertise, with demonstrable expertise in application development using the Salesforce platform, supplemented by a combination of the following:

- Prior experience with design, architecture, development of SaaS web applications
- Experience in a technical role and guiding/mentoring junior developers
- Experience in working with architectural and design standards and technologies
- Worked in agile teams utilising methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban
- Experience with API led design and integration to/from Salesforce platform
- Experience with Mulesoft Mule4 platform or other integration platform
- Languages: Apex, Apps, LWC, VF Pages, Flows, SOSL, SOQL
- Use of the following development tools: Maven, Jenkins
- Frameworks and libraries: Testing frameworks Junit or equivalent
