This well-known and highly respected financial services organisation has invested heavily in Salesforce and working as part of a growing Salesforce DevOps team made up of Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Business users you will develop and deploy enterprise Salesforce solutions that add real value.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, award-winning Salesforce team at an established, well-known brand financial services organisation that has put Salesforce at the heart of its tech strategy.
This talented team design, develop and deploy enterprise solutions and you will have the opportunity to test your Salesforce development skills across a number of Salesforce orgs, 8 in total, that support various functions within this business globally. You will be involved in the full Salesforce DevOps lifecycle, using your coding skills in Apex and Visualforce to design and develop high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform.
To be successful in this team, you will be a Salesforce Developer who is proactive and good at problem-solving. You must have:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certified (Other Certifications highly advantageous)
- Strong hands-on skills with Salesforce development including Apex Classes, Apex WebServices (with REST and SOAP standards), Apex Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, Batch Apex, Apex Schedulers, Custom Settings, Custom Metadata, SOQL, SOSL and Migration Tools.
- Strong knowledge of software development principles such as Design patterns and Modular programming.
- Exposure to both Service and Sales cloud
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
Successful candidates can expect a salary of £55k-£65k plus an annual bonus and a superb 12% Non-contributory pension. This is a hybrid role and this business takes a common-sense approach. Typically, you can expect to visit the office 2-4 times per month minimum (once a week although this is not a strict rule and there is plenty of flexibility on offer). Office locations are in Swindon, Wiltshire, and Fareham, Hampshire. Fully remote is not on offer for this role and the team still gets great value of having face time. Of course, if you prefer being in the office more frequently this is possible.
