Job Description

The Salesforce Product Owner will provide elite consulting services to one or more projects for our clients by analyzing their requirements, developing designs, and leading the agile implementation of Salesforce solutions. They act as the liaison between the client's business users and Innovate's development team to identify, assess, and document business requirements, develop use cases that explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to the development team, and analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the organization.

The Product Owner will drive the roadmap and feature prioritization and will track each feature from initial discussions/concept through post-launch support and maintenance. You will be responsible for converting the product vision into a workable product roadmap through stakeholder interviews, requirements documentation, forward-looking planning, technical integration and tradeoffs dialog, regular product backlog maintenance, and tactical prioritization of tasks. Your goal is to consistently deliver new and improved capabilities to improve the user experience and drive user efficiency through our agile process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as primary day-to-day point of contact and the operational aspects of the project. Objective focused on building strong relationships and understanding of the client's business model and processes.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering meetings to gather user requirements, as well as other sprint meetings as meets the needs of the project.
  • Document and analyze business requirements for the Product Backlog.
  • Attain sign-off from the business users on requirements and ensures the application developers can translate the requirements into systems specifications.
  • Ensure changes to the requirements are approved and documented.
  • Leverage a solid understanding of the Salesforce product suite in order to validate key design options and present proposal solution designs.
  • Works with project manager to monitor the project status and assess risks in process, people, and/or technology and adjusts project plans to address accordingly.
  • Structures, leads, and participates in integration and user acceptance test (UAT) sessions and efforts to ensure the applications match the business requirements, including capturing and cataloging user feedback.
  • Support sales meetings through demoing existing applications built and creating new prototypes based on initial conversations with clients.
  • Develops training plan and training materials and delivers end user training.
  • Provides end user support via phone, email, and Help Desk.
  • Be enthusiastic, professional, confident, and effective with team members toward customer satisfaction/ success.
  • Maintain knowledge level about new and emerging technologies and/or methodologies.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed to support client and internal team release management needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in IT project management (Salesforce a plus) or related product owner function
  • Consulting experience required, working with Government contracting is a plus.
  • Active [Register to View] certification or Trailhead ranking of Ranger
  • Previous Salesforce delivery experience, preferably both Classic and Lightning
  • Working knowledge on Salesforce implementation using team-based delivery Agile/Scrum methodologies; Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner
  • Product management experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence products, break down epic-level user stories into detail-level stories consumable and testable by a scrum team and strong sense of personal accountability with ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate, willingness to learn new technologies, proactive entrepreneurial spirit, and reliability
  • Must have strong analytical, organization and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail, ability to react quickly to complex situations, work with teammates, customers, and outside organizations in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Strong process engineering and process flow design w/ documentation, data structure/architecture, UX/UI (User Experience/User Interface), design best practices, and API development/interface experience
  • Proven experience managing cycles of continuous improvement of CRM platform for Sales and Customer Service teams Requirements Desired Qualifications
