Job Description

RESPONSIBILITY

This role is responsible for leading a team that supports the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes and systems to enable the effectiveness of Aramark’s Sales organization across all business units and countries.

This role will drive the overall vision, methodology, process, and tools to enable sellers and retention professionals to sell more effectively. Work as the key lead in partnership with all key stakeholders (IT, Mobilization, Pricing, Finance, Legal, Analytics, etc.) to further enable business process execution.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

The overall business objective is to provide accountability and transparency into Aramark’s client relationship management and business development activities to equip us to retain and grow. This individual will be the integral leader within the Sales Operations team who can influence and develop a team that can produce results in matrix-organized and participate in cross-functional teams through collaboration with stakeholders to optimize resources and promote focus, accountability, performance, transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness. The position requires leadership and collaboration across business units, functions, geographies, cultures and multiple levels of the organization to drive improvement and adoption of our Salesforce platform. Key activities include but are not limited to: leading efforts across all functions to enable the effectiveness of Aramark’s growth organization, shaping sales processes, shaping tools to reflect these process, supporting development of training materials and programs in partnership with training resources, ensuring the consistent and proper use of our programs, serving as a leader to a team of key contacts for business unit and liaisons, leading a team that creates and executes processes directly related to increasing adoption of business processes, and supporting the development of communication strategies and materials related to the growth performance culture.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Force Automation and Business Process Adoption: Lead team responsible for Salesforce.com partnership with analytics team (via Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM) across all business units and countries. Ensure the certainty of absorbing transformational change by building innovative communications, education, and continuous feedback loops that engage everyone from end to end across all functions and business units. Lead enablement of other integrated tools/technology to support sales and retention teams.

Key Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with leaders in growth, legal, finance, pricing, mobilization, operations, marketing, and other areas of Aramark to receive, aggregate, and manage the fulfillment of changes and enhancements to business processes via Salesforce.com. Drive use of Salesforce.com as the book of record by thoughtfully determining the best solutions to the addition and potential automation of non-sales business processes. Effectively build, develop, and manage relationships with key constituent spanning all roles and levels of the organization.

System Enhancements and Governance: Lead a team that translates general business needs into system requirements to optimize the utility of Salesforce.com features to add value. Represent Managed Services on Aramark’s Governance team, driving all system enhancements, ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion, and ensuring all issues are promptly addressed. Lead development, testing, implementation, training, and communication of solutions. Lead timing of enhancements and solutions via monthly releases, and champion documentation of release notes and training materials. Challenge the status quo to ensure all Governance processes, and enhancements, are relevant, in the best interest of long-term goals of the business, set Aramark up for long term success, and solutions are intuitive enough to be easily adopted.

Project Leadership and Support: Take strategy from the concept stage to operational implementation, particularly in a role of influence across the organization. Serve as key point of contact and leader for ongoing projects and new projects of various size and complexity, ensure teams meet deadlines in a diverse and challenging environment while championing change management efforts. Through thought leadership, devise new and innovative approaches and projects, enable team members to take on key roles in those projects. Develop and maintain Managed Services Salesforce.com roadmap.

Support Sales Force Automation and Business Process Training: Support the development and execution of instructor led training to apply Aramark’s sales process through the Salesforce.com user experience. Support a team that equips new sales professionals with the skills to participate and ensure consistent use of Salesforce.com by the business among key constituents, spanning growth and operational functions. Support efforts to develop and update training materials as needed to reflect changes in the user interface or changes in business process.

Sales Effectiveness Measurement and Budget Management: Collaborate with to track, analyze, and report on sales activity including wins, losses, pending, and pipeline opportunities. Oversee communication and implementation of reporting processes, definitions, and behaviors to ensure consistent reporting practices. Partner with Growth leadership to report Salesforce license expenses and serve as an expert on different Salesforce license types/products.

Communication Development and Leadership: Lead the development and execution of Salesforce-related communication materials including, but not limited to, release notes, requirements documents, and communications to users about new functionality

Thought and People Leadership: Support team responsible for all Managed Services user support related to sales process and Salesforce.com. Set a standard for excellence and achieving business outcomes, following the model to set goals, act and win, and ensure team members are examples of this standard. Enable Aramark front line to sell and serve with passion by creating an environment that encourages team members to put the front line first, both direct reports and otherwise. Equip direct reports with the tools they need to learn, grow, and develop business acumen to regularly interface with the top senior executives in the Growth organization and across all Aramark businesses.

Qualifications

Experience

  • The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 8-11 years of progressive responsibility in sales support with responsibility for reporting, analytics, sales force automation, and selling processes.
  • Minimum 4 years Salesforce experience, with subject matter expertise on the on Salesforce CRM platform (Sales Cloud require)
  • Working knowledge of Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM to support development of sales analytics
  • Foodservice, services marketing, retail, or other operational experience preferred.
  • Experience working on a team to implement new business programs and/or technologies and navigating change management issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at multiple levels of a team environment within a heavily matrixed organization.
  • Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • com Administrator certification.
