About you

You’ll have several years of experience working with Salesforce and taking the lead in designing technical solutions and architecture of the platform. You’ll understand Salesforce inside and out – and know what it’s great at, what should be avoided, and have an awareness of what the future holds. You’ll be comfortable leading the analysis of difficult system problems and, in collaboration with team members, recommend solutions. You’ll actively manage the overall health of the platform and make recommendations for our Salesforce roadmap. You’ll preferably have worked with other technologies besides Salesforce and be able to apply that knowledge and modern technical concepts into your day-to-day work. You’ll direct early solution evaluation around gaps/risks, including the proactive management of issues and effective engagement with executives. You’ll be a great

communicator and be able to make very technical concepts easily accessible to non-technical audiences.

You’ll work closely with our existing Technical, Product and UX teams, bring others on the journey with you and ensure that things are always left better than you found them. You’ll be confident taking ownership of a problems, be a self-starter and an excellent problem solver. You won’t have all the answers – but you’ll be ready to work collaborative and pragmatic way to discover solutions. But most importantly, you’ll operate with empathy, kindness, pragmatism, and an unwavering focus on creating fantastic experiences for your customers.

As such, we’ll be asking you to join us in our Global Headquarters in the heart of Borough Market, two to three days per week (or as needed by projects).

Your experience


· Extensive hands-on technical consulting and solution implementation experience

· Proven ability to analyse, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration, including leadership in guiding customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technology for business use cases

· A thorough understanding of web services, data modelling, and enterprise application integration concepts

· Strong understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (formerly Communities) and AppExchange solutions

· Strong knowledge in Salesforce Administration including managing profiles, teams, and security

· Continual evaluation of existing Salesforce security and architecture to ensure its manageability and sustainability

· Excellent understanding of Apex, its benefits, limitations, where to use it and where to use configuration

· Experience implementing solutions that integrate into the wider Enterprise Architecture

· General understanding of modern design patterns, including API Development and Event Driven approaches

· Clear and demonstrable understanding of Salesforce best practice

· Experience working with best practice Salesforce CI/CD tools, including SFDX, with a clear understanding of how these can be best applied to your workflow

· Experience developing API Integration using REST/SOAP

· Experience in writing documentation, both in code and user manuals, technical designs, and key engineering decisions


· Preferably a background in non-Salesforce Development to compliment your Salesforce skills

· Solid understanding of, and detailed experience with, Salesforce architecture and best practice

· Demonstrated experience building solutions with Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud
