Technical Architect
Job Description
The ideal Technical Architect will be mission-driven, self-reliant and eager to learn. Our consultants are all client-facing and may be involved in all steps in a project’s lifecycle including demonstration, discovery, design, configuration and development, testing, data migration, integration development, and support. The Technical Architect will lead the technical aspects of projects and must have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform. Strong candidates will be able to lead multiple projects simultaneously and possess good interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Support Presales Solution Engineers in discussions and scoping of complex opportunities, particularly those with integration needs
- Lead technical discovery sessions with clients
- Clearly articulate technical details and considerations to non-technical stakeholders
- Develop and execute on integration strategies based on requirements and capabilities
- Design performant solutions on the Salesforce platform for projects that range in complexity from relatively small declarative projects to enterprise architectures that include multiple clouds, multiple integrations, and large data volumes.
- Technical leadership of projects, including sprint and resource management
- Provide recommendations to clients on third party applications and lead client evaluation discussions
- Perform code audits to ensure compliance with coding best practices and documentation standards
- Determine and implement project lifecycle strategies
- Estimate and support data migration efforts
- Provide ad hoc technical assistance to team members across the organization
Required Experience/Credentials
- Apex, LWC and Aura development experience
- Strong systems integration experience
- Experience Cloud experience
- Familiarity with integration/middleware tools such as MuleSoft and Jitterbit
- Experience with SFDX, CI, Git, and other deployment lifecycle management tools
- Highly competent in Salesforce access and identity management. Can lead client security discussions and design performant security models for complex situations
- Understanding of the declarative capabilities of the Force.com platform
- Degree in Computer Science related discipline or equivalent experience
- Salesforce Developer 1 certification
- At least 1 architect-level Salesforce Certification
