(Archived) Salesforce Functional Consultant
Job Description
Consultants are engaged throughout the project lifecycle and their responsibilities run from strategy, design and configuration through to integration, testing and deployment. This is a client facing role.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Workshops: Gather business requirements from key stakeholders (Business Analysis)
- Document Requirements: Provide detailed write up of project scope, requirements and definitions of success (Business Requirements Specification)
- Technical Governance and Estimation: Reviewing project scope, design and estimates
- Manage projects: Includes coordinating the project team to ensure the project remains on track, within scope and budget
- Customer Success: Manage client relationships and provide support throughout the change process
- Technical Expertise: Continual Professional Development, continually improving personal Salesforce knowledge by keeping up to date with latest releases and gaining further certifications and qualifications
- Design and build solutions for large projects
- Gather requirements, understand briefs and scope projects effectively
- Candidates who have the right to live and work in the UK
- 1/2+ years of professional experience delivering Sales Cloud implementation projects
- Certified to Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant and Developer I
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues at all levels
- Experience of agile project delivery and working as part of a wider team that includes highly skilled Salesforce developers, change management consultants and testers
- Proven experience taking highly conceptual business needs and translating these into clear user stories, managing the product backlog and assisting the client with testing and product demonstrations
- The ability to translate technical or conceptual information into plain English for clients to understand
- Experience of working on large complex end user or client projects
